DESCRIPTION
The condensation hood from Luis Capdevila is specifically designed to capture and condense water vapor generated by equipment such as industrial dishwashers, steam ovens, and other appliances that produce large amounts of moisture, especially in situations where there is no external ventilation outlet available. This hood is ideal for maintaining a dry and controlled environment in the kitchen, preventing moisture buildup and improving the comfort and safety of kitchen staff.
The condensation process in this hood is carried out through a four-stage filtration system combined with an integrated refrigeration unit. First, moisture-saturated air is captured via an adjustable induction flow that directs it toward the capture zone, where the high velocity and sharp curve of the airflow centrifuge larger water droplets. Then, a refrigeration unit cools the air, condensing the remaining vapor. The air then passes through a droplet separator and a synthetic filter, which retain most of the moisture. Finally, the clean, dry air is expelled, while the condensed water is collected and drained through a perimeter drainage system.
