A tool as practical as it is new: the flow rate calculator

A few days ago, we told you about the launch of our new website, a platform with which we intended to facilitate navigation, access to information and, above all, to offer you a new tool, unique in the sector, with an important function: to save time, energy and precision for those industry professionals who are looking for extraction systems.

It is a calculator that allows a precise forecast of the extraction flow rates of an industrial kitchen according to its power or size, thus showing, in a matter of a few minutes, what the exact need is, and which equipment is best suited to it.

Thus, the margins of error to which the human factor is exposed, as well as the time spent searching for and comparing equipment, are drastically reduced. 

The calculator is divided into three sections:

1.- The calculation of flow rates according to the size of the kitchen equipment (DW 172 Standard): The programme allows the calculation of the flow rate generated by the cooking elements of a kitchen according to their sizes. 

2.- The calculation of flow rates according to the power of the cooking equipment (Standard UNE-EN 16282-1): It allows to calculate the flow rate through the estimated simultaneity, the position factor and the air circulation of the kitchen. 

3.- Calculation of pressure losses: Provides a calculation of the pressure drop per galvanized circular duct.

This efficient software is still in its beta version, because, although it is already perfectly stable and accurate, we are planning to launch a new evolved phase. We will keep you informed.
