When the ceiling has to match the space
Some projects present a clear technical challenge, while others also have the good fortune of being in the right place. The installation we carried out at the Torrons Vicens shop on Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona is, by far, both at once.
The space is well known: one of the most emblematic confectioneries in Barcelona, right on Passeig de Gràcia, with a compact kitchen where every centimetre counts. The challenge was to integrate a filtering ceiling into a particularly limited environment, ensuring the installation was fully functional without compromising the aesthetic discretion the space required.
That means thinking through every detail, because efficiency cannot compromise the finish, and the finish cannot compromise efficiency. In a kitchen of this kind, where space is tight and activity is constant, there is no room for halfway solutions.
The result makes us proud: an installation that solves the technical challenge with precision while remaining discreet within a carefully designed environment.
And yes, we admit this project has a hard-to-beat advantage: what is produced beneath that ceiling makes it, by far, the most enviable filtering ceiling in our portfolio.
