The Ductless system of the Teppan-Auto extracts the smoke right where it is generated, sucking it out, cleaning it and releasing clean, odourless air. How does this 3-stage system work?

Stage 1: Mechanical filtration

The first stage of our Ductless system is mechanical filtration, which uses a set of louvered filters similar to those found in industrial kitchens. These filters are capable of trapping particles larger than 3 microns, ensuring that the air is free of large particles before moving on to the next step.

Stage 2: Electrostatic Filtration

This is where the real magic happens. Electrostatic filtration employs an air filter based on the principle of electrostatic precipitation. These filters are exceptional because they have the ability to separate particles as small as 0.01 microns. To put that into perspective, that is a fraction of the size of a little virus. This advanced technology ensures that the air you breathe while cooking is almost completely free of harmful particles.

Stage 3: Activated carbon filtration

Finally, we come to the third stage: filtration with activated carbon. Activated carbon is known for its amazing ability to absorb odours from the air. In this stage, the previously filtered air passes through an area with more than 500 m2/g of activated carbon, where the gas odours are retained. This means no more lingering odours that often linger in the room.
