At Luis Capdevila, we have been manufacturing air-conditioning solutions that transform professional kitchens for over 45 years. But today, we want to talk about another kind of transformation: the one that happens when you put your experience, knowledge, and hands to work for a cause that goes far beyond any catalog.

A charitable act. We add value as always: by creating solutions

We are proud to announce that we are official sponsors of Team Dune-X: four brave young people—Joan Pons, Raúl Rodríguez, Alex Parra, and Pol Lahiguera—who will travel 2,400 kilometers across the Moroccan desert next February in a Seat Panda and a Seat Marbella, together totaling 72 years of history.

But this is more than just an adventure: it is an act of solidarity. The Dune-X team will deliver school supplies, clothing, blankets, and basic resources to remote villages in southern Morocco—communities where a pencil, a notebook, or a warm coat make a huge difference.

And what do we contribute? What we do best: design and manufacturing. Our technical office has developed the solutions they needed, and we are currently working on:

• Stainless steel skid plates: Robust and durable protections for the underside of the two cars, designed to withstand the harshest desert conditions. Because in these dunes, every piece counts.
• Custom roof racks: Precisely engineered structures so that the Panda and Marbella can carry all the necessary equipment for the nine-day journey, including supplies for local communities.
• And much more: From cutting rear suspension twin links to rescue hooks and small parts that will make a real difference when needed most.
