We took part in a technical event on hotel equipment in Croatia

Last week we were in Zagreb, taking part in a commercial action organized by ICEX and the Commercial Office of Spain in Croatia. This was a technical day focused on the hospitality and catering sector, with scheduled meetings between Spanish companies and Croatian professionals: distributors, hotel chains and key prescribers in the field.

Croatia is a market with strong potential, where tourism already accounts for 22% of GDP. In addition to investments in new hotel developments, there are numerous renovation projects, the growth of nautical tourism and a notable increase in cruise ship traffic in cities such as Dubrovnik, Split and Hvar.

At Luis Capdevila, we presented our range of solutions for professional kitchens, with special emphasis on two of our flagship products: filtering ceilings and the Ductless range. Throughout the day, we took part in B2B meetings and gave a pitch to companies in the sector to share our proposal and explore potential future collaborations.

The initiative was very well received. Distributors, purchasing directors and other key decision-makers attended. It was a small, well-targeted event with an audience already interested in our solutions. We held around 12 meetings, with a high level of interest in Filtronic® and Ductless. Technical innovation, seriousness and rigour were especially valued, beyond the mechanical improvement of the equipment. Overall, the feedback was very positive—even from clients with highly specific needs.

We thank ICEX for organizing this event, which has opened new doors in a market where design, functionality and reliability are increasingly appreciated.
